Join Pennsylvanian timber framers Alex Desko and Ethan Jones-Walker of Confluence Fabrication for this hands-on, 40 hour Timber Framing Intensive. Students will take part in constructing a small, open timber frame structure over the course of two weeks, learning the basics of timber frame layout & construction in the process.
– Wood grading/grain reading
– Joinery layout and mathematics
– Safe power tool usage
– Hand tool joint paring
– Basic rigging and raising techniques.
